Art as Teacher
We often rush past the ordinary stuff of life. Clouds drifting, trees bending, a single bird cutting through the sky. In our haste, we miss the profound truths they carry.
But art can open the eye of attention. A painting of a mountain, a patch of wildflowers, or the curve of a branch can reveal a harmony already present but unseen. Everything has its place. Each element fulfills its role effortlessly and without complaint.
In seeing this, we begin to understand life on its own terms. In this way, art becomes a teacher, not only reflecting the world but also serving as a means of seeing and observing. It reminds us that nothing is out of place. Even the smallest thing, rightly seen, contains the whole.
What we call ordinary life is rich with meaning. We only need to slow down and look again. And sometimes, we can do that with the help of art.
