Art of the Body

Life first shows itself through the body.

Even before we start thinking, our breath is moving and our weight is pressing on the ground. Sensations come without needing explanation, bringing a sense of certainty. When we focus on this, our experience feels direct and complete.

Modern life often keeps us at a distance from this closeness. We spend our days focused on descriptions, plans, and interpretations. Still, the body is always there, inviting us to reconnect. Our breath, posture, and feelings create a simple language. They communicate through texture, rhythm, and inflection.

When we tune into the body, we meet the world immediately. Everything becomes part of one experience. The pulse in your wrist, the sounds around you, together with the warmth of sunlight on your skin, all come together in the same moment.

This is where my art begins. Coming back to the body helps keep me anchored, letting my marks, colors, and shapes come from what I feel rather than just ideas.

Embodiment demonstrates that creativity isn’t just about insights and concepts. It comes from being present, where life naturally finds expression.
