Art of Evolution

Evolution is part of even the smallest moments of your day. Steam rises from a pot on the stove and is gone before you notice it. Someone says something unexpected, and the whole shape of a conversation changes.

Each moment asks for an answer you can't truly prepare. When you stop trying to hold things in place, a new attention emerges. You sense life is always renewing itself.

In daily life, staying with the natural evolution of things means adjusting your pace, listening closely, and letting moments develop. What once seemed disruptive can illuminate a new direction.

This is the foundation of my art practice. A painting never adheres to a fixed idea. Each new mark shifts direction, and I respond and record the flow.

Likewise, when I encounter an obstacle in my life, I often return to this question: What if nothing needs to stay as it is for my life to feel complete?
